Technical courses are a core element of the Time to Care value proposition. The idea was inspired when a sewist felt like she could teach someone else sewing. So, she did. She invited more people and they also learned how to sew. This prompted Time to Care to initiate a 6 monthly course on sewing; for empowerment. As more people benefited from the course, new courses were introduced; such as Baking, Knitting, and Basic Culinary. Each course is currently operating with an average of 10 people. In the long term, TTC intends to become authorized to certify people’s attained skills.
